for those who hate the EPA, I hope you like drinking sewage water and don't mind having lead back in your food. At a time when big corporations are looking for nothing but their bottom line (and a BIG one at that), the regular Jo(e) is no longer valuable and clean drinking water and healthy food are rapidly becoming again a thing of the past. Look to what East Germany looked in the early 1980s or many areas of China today. That's what we're gong for in this country again. All the gains are eroding and the ones to pay the price most are our children and grandchildren.

The EPA should be ended and its functions should be handled at the state and local levels.

OGW says: "There is never a time when a judge should be able to over rule the EPA especially in favor of the always polluting coal industry."
Be glad that I don't run things. I'd cut off all of your electricity, gasoline and natural gas and see what you think of the pre-industrial revolution life style. More people live longer, healthier lives now in spite of the side effects of coal, oil, and gas than anyone ever lived without them. The enviros just won't face that fact. Those people never think about how interconnected everything is with fuel. Without a car you pull a wagon to the store. You would make that trip EVERY DAY because you wouldn't have electricity for your refrigerator to store a few days worth of food. How would things be kept fresh in the store? How would stuff even get delivered to the store? Cars and trucks use gas and diesel...right you are. Ever try to fill your tank at a gas station with no electricity to run the pumps?

Two weeks ago we bought gas for $2.79.9 in South Carolina and for $2.99.9 in Toledo Ohio!! We returned to Michigan on July 20th and gas was $3.35.9!! Sense that time we have had price increases to $3.65.9 on July 25th, $3.79.9 0n July 30th and know $3.99.9 on August 2nd!! Big Oil is totally out of control!! They can and do raise prices at the pump for the sole purpose of adding to their already outrageous quarterly profit totals!! We need price and profit controls on all petroleum products!! Our government has given the oil industry huge tax breaks and incentives to produce reasonably priced fuel for our economic growth!! It was always a balancing act, but know Big Oil has shown no restraint , and their profits are so outlandish that it is hard to even compute them Congress needs to put profit and price controls on all petroleum products and if the price for fuel doesn't come down to below $2.50 per gallon , the Federal government needs to Nationalize the entire petroleum industry!!
