Gas prices rise for seventh-consecutive week

USA Today -- Gasoline prices rose for the seventh week straight, hitting an average $3.744 a gallon for self-serve regular in the government's weekly survey just released. That's up 2.3 cents since last Monday.

California, the nation's largest gas market, remains the place with the highest prices, the Energy Information Administration reports. A gallon averages $4.129, up about 3.3 cents from $4.096 last week. The Golden State is still reeling from a fire at a major Bay Area refinery that could take months to repair. New England has the second-highest average gas prices at $3.808 a gallon, up from $3.773 a gallon last week.

The cheapest gas is now in the Rocky Mountain states, where it averages $3.535 a gallon, up 3.5 cents. It's now slightly cheaper than the Gulf Coast, where gas prices average

Big Oil can do what they want! Big Oil does Not care about your economic status or lack of income. It's your choice to drive a vehicle and buy their gas, Big Oil is not twisting your arm or forcing your to buy their fuel! 'Coming out of the closet' Barry's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the good paying jobs are Not here. Barry's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continues to be down – no matter how smoooooth talking Barry spins those numbers and he can spin them very well! People will still drive and buy fuel no matter what but it sure helps to have a job too! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
