Gas prices continue to fall .

azfamily.com -- PHOENIX – Motorists across the state of Arizona continue to get an early Christmas gift every time they head to the pump.

Gas prices dropped for yet another week, falling 7 cents to an average statewide price of $3.309 per gallon.

“Motorists are feeling a little extra holiday cheer after six weeks of falling prices. This is especially true in Tucson, as AAA’s Fuel Price Finder found sub $3 fuel at several stations in the region this week,” said Linda Gorman, director of communications and public affairs for AAA Arizona.

Gorman added that prices are expected to decrease through the remainder of the year and end 2012 “at a multi-month low.”

Tucson’s average price of $3.075 per gallon is the lowest in Arizona, while Flagstaff has the state's highest average at $3.611 per gallon.

Wonderful news since they don't produce oil and don't have any local refineries??? Why is it so expensive in oil producing areas?

Sorry, $3.30/gal is not a 'gift.' When gasoline drops below $2.00/gal, THAT will be a 'gift.'

When they get to $2.50 and hold I will feel better. When they get below that I will feel better still. I refuse to hold my breath for that to happen. One thing that would start to help it is the use of Natural Gas but with whatever obama has going he will never support it.

Gas prices overall are still at historical highs for the month of December and 2012 will end up having the highest annual gas price average on record, despite an 11 year low in demand. Good job regulating speculators, liar in chief and Congress. You all stink.

In spite of some stations here trying to raise prices, most are refusing so prices are staying down for now

You need to look at this chart: http://gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx with the "Show Crude Oil Price" option checked.
