Does the consumer have ANY control in regulating the price at the pump?

People are getting desensitized to the stagnated gas prices at this point... Tragedy.

There is no justifiable reason for prices to be anywhere near this high. Demand is weak and supply is ample.

Watch and see if we don't have $5.00-$6.00 a gallon by 2016.

Short term gasoline prices are down but the long term trend is up due to higher demand, higher costs of getting oi out of the ground and the lower value of the dollar (inflation).

Crude wholesale price never got to the $140+ a barrel like it did several years ago but that did not stop big oil from keeping gasoline prices outrageously high.

Supply and demand does not seem to lower the prices anymore. They just ship the finished fuels off to the highest bidder. We have to look for better MPG which we should have had long ago and good alternative energy sources.

Gas drops pennies every 2 - 3 days, it will take a month to drop a quarter, it can go up that amount in 3 days.

$3.55 per gallon is not falling. It needs to be back at 1.65 per gallon to get the US going again.

falling from what ??..
there is a huge difference in prices falling from $1.00, or even that magic $2.00 mark, than falling from the extortion level of $3.00+
