The company announced that 88-year-old Glenn Benton of Fairfield, who served in World War II in the Quarter Master Corp., loading and unloading supplies while stationed in England, France and Germany from June 1943 through January 1946, has been chosen to receive up to $1,500 of home heating oil from the low-cost energy company that serves New Haven and Fairfield counties.

suzmar: its not so hard to believe. true the cost of the NG fuel is much cheaper, but the up front out of pocket costs to replace furnance, installing supply lines from house to storage tank, renting storage tank, and permits can bring the cost to >$7.5K+.

the local nderground ng gas supplier here in my town wants at least 10k per resident on the street (every resident must pay whether they connect or not) to extend main trunk lines. soooo... we're talking 17.5K
