A small car, made with carbon fiber, run by a hybrid engine = awesome mileage!

I do not understand the chemistry of carbon fiber, but just based upon the name "carbon fiber" it would seem that chemically breaking the fiber down into carbon and the other components wouldn't be that difficult - then again, diamonds are carbon, and not easy to break down. Good luck BMW and Boeing.

first, does this affect gas prices?
they aren't recycling the materials they produce, but the waste from the production. examply: leftover chicken parts go into hot dogs, but where can these byproducts go for good use?

Recyclability of any raw material is an important issue to consider. You can't keep burying "stuff" in a land fill.

I think Congress should provide millions of dollars to Boing so they could do an extensive study in order to find inconclusive results.

Keep doing the research. We need to recycle more. I can see the day in the future when we start mining our garbage dumps for recycleables.
